short and sweet ~ May 30, 2002 - 9:57 p.m. it was hot today. muggy, too. everyone has been moving very, very slowly today. me too. I've felt all thick and slow. hard to motivate. hard to swim through my day. but I did. I drifted and dreamed and oozed through my day. v.p. is teaching me how to make chai. I do adore that woman. I want her to be my grandma. I'm taking her 14-year-old developmentally disabled grandson to a play next week, the ramayana, which is an indian epic play that the kids at the mount madonna school put on every year, over a hundred of them. it's a huge event in our community. everything's been gearing up for it for months. and my horoscope this week said something like past relationships make no sense to you now. this is a good thing, as the present is better. I love risa. her horoscopes are so right on. she also said that something unexpected and good will happen to me this week. hooray for that. seems like my diary entries are short and sweet lately. a question of focus, maybe. it's a gorgeous night. warm, sweet air, a sky full of stars. crickets singing in the moonlight. it's good to live on top of the mountain.
