... ~ 2001-01-31 - 22:13:32 I'm gonna try to get to bed at a halfway reasonable hour tonight... wish me luck, y'all. grey, grey, grey... I wish the sun would come out. I've been spending a lot of time daydreaming... I know the metaphysical importance of Being Here Now, but I've been indulging my escape fantasies lately. I was on the highway coming home, and I was eating candy-- I've mentioned the hypoglycemia, right? refined sugar's as good as speed for me-- and I was singing to the radio at the top of my lungs (I do this when I drive) and I had this dreamy smile on my face because I was thinking about some really utterly lovely sex I had last summer with a couple of my favorite people-- and I overshot my exit. by about a mile. I'm not terribly present lately. it doesn't help that my job is basically to do nothing all day. I'm estimating that I actually do work less than fifteen minutes a day. maybe tomorrow I'll actually keep track, just for fun. I'm getting good at free cell though.
