...the ones I love best...

finding home ~ November 22, 2002 - 6:54 p.m.

the love for me in this place...

I finally struck out from jennifer's place today... got back on my motorcycle, oh yes. I've missed riding like you wouldn't believe. tiny asian motorbikes can't compare.

rode all over the county today... up to boulder creek for coffee and love at the blue sun cafe... sat on the counter and caught up with tamara while she closed.

then I got back on my bike and rode all the way to the other end, all the way up to mount madonna. half frozen when I got here, but just in time for dinner. and all the hugs. and all the love.

august has given me her room for crash space, she's going up to oakland tonight. I'm probably going up on sunday, to see amma.

I'm exhausted. my body's still figuring out what's night and what's day... according to my internal clock, it's midmorning, although the sun has gone down in this part of the world.

but I'm exhausted, and maybe tonight I'll be able to sleep, in august's warm bed, surrounded by a community I love, and that loves me.

and maybe in the morning, I'll wake to greet the sun.

home.

it's good to be.
